Where is your favorite place to visit in the world and why?

Big Sur, I love the expansiveness of the ocean, the intensity of the mountains, and the peacefulness of the energy.

Who do you want to meet?

Nicholas Kristoff, former NYTimes columnist. As a white privileged man, I appreciate that he’s written about major human rights abuses against women in the U.S. and abroad. I love that he’s in my corner as a woman.

Who did you want to meet?

My mother’s father, I never met him and as a psychologist, I’d love to have the lived experience of what he was like and how that shaped my mother into who she is.

How does your work fulfill you, your purpose in life?

It’s incredibly fulfilling for me to help my clients have more satisfying fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. The best things in life come from loving ourselves and others, and I help people have more love in their lives.



What are you watching?

What do you do to fully relax?

M&M… meditate and massage. 


Do you consider yourself and introvert or extrovert?

I’m a bit of both. I get energy from being with people and I get energy being with myself.

When are you most in flow, productive, energized?

Mornings, during or after a workout. When I have open space and time to get something done.

What keeps you up at night?

The commercial sexual exploitation of U.S. children.

Do you meditate or practice mindfulness?

Yes, daily, in the morning and evening meditation. I meditate so I can be more mindful in my day to day life and in my interactions with others and self.

Who taught you how to hustle?

I guess my mother, she always encouraged me to work, make my own money and be able to support myself.


Do you exercise?

Yes, i like walking/hiking, stretching, pilates, biking, swimming, tennis, I love how good it feels.


What communities inspire you?

Mama Gena, The Hivery and my fellow Stanford GSB Facilitators and fellow Modern Analytic Group therapists.

Are you more Hustle or more Zen lately?

I think I’m a bit of both. I’m hustling as the creator of the Co-Founder Conflict Disruption program and book writing, and I’m doing it in a zen way. I don’t feel over-worked, stretched or burdened. I’ve hired a book coach and I have an amazing assistant in the co-founder program so I have a lot of help.

What would you do if you did not do your existing work/business?

I’d devote my time 100% to ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the U.S. 


How do you define a good work/life balance, and how important do you think it is?

It’s the most important thing. I think good work life balance is feeling full and satisfied with work, and not feeling stressed, over-worked, burdened or burnt-out. For me this means I have enough time to sleep as much as I need, acquire/prepare and consume healthy food, exercise every day in some way, attend self-care appointments, connect with my partner, close friends and family, take enough vacation and work.
